Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Reach Out Web (“ROW”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.reachoutweb.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Where cookies involve the processing of personal data, the EU GDPR and applicable Greek law apply.

1) What are cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and tracking URLs. Cookies can be set by the website you visit (first‑party) or by third parties (third‑party).

2) Legal basis and consent

Under the EU ePrivacy rules, we must obtain your prior consent before using any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the banner’s Preferences link or the button provided in this policy.

3) How we obtain and manage consent (Complianz)

We use the Complianz Consent Management Platform (CMP) to: (i) display a geo‑aware cookie banner, (ii) block non‑essential cookies and tags until you choose, (iii) communicate your choices to tags (e.g., via Google Consent Mode), and (iv) keep records of consent. You can adjust or withdraw your consent at any time via the Preferences link in the banner.

4) Cookies we use by category

A) Strictly Necessary (always active)
– Purpose: Enable core site functionality (e.g., security, load balancing, cookie consent storage). These do not require consent.

B) Analytics (requires consent)
– Purpose: Measure traffic and performance to improve our content and user experience. Implemented with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), configured with EU privacy controls. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses for EU users and offers region‑based privacy controls.

C) Advertising & Measurement (requires consent)
– Purpose: Help us measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and understand conversions and audiences. Tags may include Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, Viber advertising tools, and—if implemented—HubSpot forms/chat. These tags only fire after consent.

D) Functional (requires consent if not strictly necessary)
– Purpose: Improve functionality, such as remembering preferences or enabling embedded content and chat. May include cookies from services like HubSpot chat, Mailchimp or Brevo forms.

5) Specific tools and signals Google Analytics 4 (Analytics)

– GA4 uses EU‑focused privacy controls. For EU users, GA4 does not log or store IP addresses and provides options to disable Google‑signals and granular location/device data on a per‑region basis.
Google Ads & Consent Mode (Advertising/Measurement)
– When supported, our CMP communicates your choices to Google tags via Consent Mode. Google tags then adapt behavior (e.g., respecting denied consent).
Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Viber (Advertising/Measurement)
– These platforms provide pixels/tags for measurement and optimization. First‑party cookies or click IDs (e.g., LinkedIn’s li_fat_id) may be used to improve attribution. TikTok Pixel can operate with first‑ or third‑party cookies based on your settings.
HubSpot (Functional/Analytics)
– If implemented, HubSpot forms/chat may set cookies such as __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssrc, and __hssc to recognize visitors and manage sessions.
Mailchimp & Brevo (Functional)
– Our newsletter and form tools may place cookies to manage subscription forms and improve deliverability/anti‑abuse measures.

6) Cookie duration

Cookies are either session cookies (expire when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them). Retention periods vary by cookie and provider; see the dynamic cookie table below for current details.

7) Dynamic cookie table (maintained by Complianz)

Our CMP automatically generates and updates the cookie table by scanning the site and classifying cookies by category, purpose, provider, and retention. As tags or settings change, this table will reflect the latest information. Your developer can embed the Complianz cookie table shortcode or HTML block on this page.

8) Managing your preferences & withdrawing consent

You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time via the banner’s Preferences link. You may also clear cookies in your browser settings. If you withdraw consent, non‑essential cookies will no longer be set and related tags will be blocked going forward.

9) Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Your browser or extensions may send a Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where technically feasible and supported by our CMP/tags, we respect such signals in addition to your on‑site choices.

10) Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or business developments. We will post an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide a prominent notice.
